Coffee Details

Limu Kossa is an estate in Ethiopia’s Djimma region, set within the Eastern Afromontane Biodiversity Hotspot. Its ecosystem is rich in flora and fauna, which helps keep the soil healthy. The farm covers 356 hectares and sits at 1,840 to 2,130 masl. Cherries are carefully handpicked, then pulped, fermented and washed in clean water. The parchment is dried on raised beds and raked often to dry evenly, reaching the ideal moisture level in 7 to 12 days.

Cupping Notes

A delicate cup of fig and warming spice, with an Earl Grey tea-like lift and a smooth caramel sweetness.
