This single origin blends two beautiful provinces in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, combining the distinct flavour of the coffees from the limestone regions of the Simbu Province together with the coffees grown in the fertile volcanic soil of the Eastern Highlands.

Coffee Details

This single origin blends two beautiful provinces in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, combining the distinct flavour of the coffees from the limestone regions of the Simbu Province together with the coffees grown in the fertile volcanic soil of the Eastern Highlands.

The smallholder farms producing these coffees have developed and perfected their technique to produce a clean and balanced product over generations, picking only the best ripe cherries most suitable for this quality.

Processing the dried parchment to green beans occurs at selected processing mills or at our central processing mill in Goroka in the Eastern Highlands Province. The green beans are then screened and sorted to meet this grade’s specifications. To preserve quality, the coffees remain in the highlands, where the climate is far less humid. Hence, when the time of departure comes, the coffees are transported an approximate of two hundred miles by road to the port city of Lae and just in time to meet the vessel schedules for the coffees to shipped out into the world.
