3 Coffees to Try This Autumn
Sep 29, 2025
Autumn is finally here and nothing gets us in the seasonal mood more than a freshly brewed hot coffee. Coffee has become synonymous with the autumn season over the years - from Pumpkin Spice Lattes to autumn walks fuelled by your favourite brew, plus seasonal tv shows that practically revolve around it (we’re looking at you, Gilmore Girls), coffee really is THAT drink when the ‘ber months arrive.
If you’re looking for some seasonal coffee inspiration, we’ve pulled together some of our favourite brews and coffee recommendations to try…
For a sweet, classic brew:
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, then our Brazil Pocos de Caldas will be right up your street. With notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla, this smooth single origin stands out whether served black or with milk. Try it in your next latte or cappuccino, especially with an extra dusting of chocolate!
Other recommendations: Goldstone, Throwback, Blue Note.
For a crisp and fresh brew:
Love fruit picking or walking through an apple orchard and drinking cider? Try Kenya Asali, with notes of apple, blackberry, lemon and toffee. Just like you’d take time walking through nature, we recommend brewing this on V60 to let those sharper fruit top notes caramelise and stand out in your cup.
Other recommendations: Costa Rica Doga, Costa Rica Guanacaste, Ethiopia Shoondhisa.
For dessert in a cup:
It’s the season of baking as much as it is coffee, and Mexico Xanat is like a fresh baked pie in your cup! You can expect notes of sweet Marzipan offset with fresh pineapple and cranberry acidity, finished with a silky, buttery mouthfeel. Try brewing on an Aeropress or enjoy as espresso.
Other recommendations: Papua New Guinea Kange, Throwdown.
