Yield the smoothest, richest, fastest coffee that you have ever tasted, perfect for extracting the syrupy tropical notes of Guava Banana.
AEROPRESS
-
Weigh out 14.5g of your Guava Banana and grind to a fine-medium setting.
-
Fill your kettle and start to boil. While waiting, place the filter in the cap and, once the kettle has boiled, wet the filter to remove any paper taste.
-
Invert the Aeropress and add your ground coffee before leveling the grinds and placing it on scales. Tare scales.
-
Start timer and pour 40g of water onto the centre of the coffee, before stirring to ensure all grounds are saturated. Leave the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds, to allow the release of gases and oils from the coffee.
-
At 30 seconds, pour up to 200g and then add the cap, with filter, and leave to brew.
-
At the two minute mark, flip the Aeropress onto your decanter/mug of choice and begin to slowly press down until you’ve pushed out all the water. This should take around 30 seconds.
-
Remove the Aeropress and enjoy your coffee.
